A hobby rooted in a passion for interior design has quickly turned into a design business.
The company was founded by Geisa Ortet, a young entrepreneur from Cape Verde Islands, a west African country colonized by the Portuguese in the 1600s.
Geisa is passionate about her background which marked by the crossroads of European, African, and American cultures.
Geisa believes her connection to her culture is essential to her understanding and interpretation of space, shapes and lines. She fell in love with design and architecture as a teenager, being captivated by European modern architecture.
Elements of her background are subtle stamps in her designs which separates Milestones designs from competitors. Geisa brings new elements to the traditional American architecture.
Geisa takes pride and is personally invested in every project. She is no stranger to physical labor, and combined with her determination and comradery with other team members creates a productive and positive work environment.
